This page explains what data is processed when you visit Private Thai Cooking Classes and how it is used. It covers this website only, not WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or other third-party services you may use to contact us.

We do not publish a contact email address on this site. Please reach us through the contact form, WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, or by phone.
Hosting
This site is hosted on Netlify. Like any web host, Netlify's servers automatically process technical request data (such as your IP address, browser type, and the time of the request) to deliver pages and keep the service secure. We do not have direct access to raw server logs.
Contact form
When you submit the contact form, the following is processed:
- The name, email address, and message you type in.
- The page you submitted the form from, the time of submission, and your browser's user-agent string.
Submissions are delivered to us by email through Resend, a transactional email provider, with your address set as the reply-to so we can answer you directly. We use this data solely to respond to your enquiry and keep it only as long as needed to do so.
To filter automated spam, the form is protected by Google reCAPTCHA v3, which analyzes your submission (including your IP address and browser signals) and returns a score to us. reCAPTCHA is provided by Google and governed by Google's own Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
Analytics: Matomo
We use a self-hosted Matomo installation to see, in aggregate, which pages are visited and how people move through the site. Matomo is configured for usage-pattern statistics only: it is not used to build a profile of you, does not track you across other websites, and does not collect personally identifiable information such as your name or email address. The tracking script loads a second after the page has finished loading, so it never blocks or slows down the page itself.
Analytics: Google Analytics
Alongside Matomo, this site also loads Google Analytics (operated by Google) for aggregated visitor statistics, deferred until after the page has loaded. Google Analytics may set cookies and process data on servers outside your country, including in the United States. For details on what Google collects and how it is used, see Google's Privacy Policy.
YouTube video
Course videos on this site are embedded using YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com mode, shown initially as a static preview image with a play button. No connection to YouTube or Google is made, and no data is sent to them, until you actively click play. From that point on, standard YouTube playback and data processing applies -- see Google's Privacy Policy.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, to request a copy of your data, and to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. To exercise any of these rights regarding data collected through this site, contact us via the contact form, WhatsApp, or phone.
